The buildings, which are located opposite the HSE offices at 34-41 Catherine Street cover around a quarter of an acre and have not been used for some time.

According to the Limerick Leader the Council has formally written to the owners of the properties informing them of their intentions.
The news article went on to report that the local authority says it believes the buildings are derelict as defined in the Derelict Sites Act.
The owners have until the end of next month to come back to us and our hope is that they will be in a position to either do them up or develop them in time,” said a spokesperson at City Hall.
