Kingspan Renewables Strengthens Portfolio

Construction News Image
Kingspan Renewables is leading the way when it comes to creating efficient and cost effective energy solutions that address the environmental concerns.

Kingspan Renewables has strengthened its portfolio of leading renewable energy solutions with the launch of its new Aeromax Plus Air Source Heat Pump packages.

This new system is a competitively priced, quality product that has been independently tested in the UK under the Government's Microgeneration Certificate Scheme (MCS), also qualifying it for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).

In Ireland, under the greener homes scheme, the new Aeromax Plus Air Source Heat Pump is also eligible for a grant of €2,000.

Kingspan Renewables’ Aeromax Plus Air Source Heat Pumps provide thermodynamic heating by means of a vapour compression cycle.

In the same way that a fridge extracts heat from its inside, an air source heat pump collects and utilises thermal energy from the outside air, even in temperatures as low as -20ºC.

Under floor heating systems can reach efficient levels of around 400% and the Aeromax Plus Heating System provides warm water for radiators and domestic hot water of temperatures between 55ºC - 60ºC.

The simple installation and operation of Aeromax Plus gives homeowners the peace of mind to know that their heating needs are being efficiently met and in an environmentally friendly way.

This air to water based heat pump, fully packaged in a one box unit, means the refrigerant circuit is located in the outdoor equipment only, and there’s no need for complicated and often expensive digging or drilling, unlike ground source heat pumps.

In order to suit individual requirements, Kingspan Renewables Aeromax Plus Air Source Heat Pumps are available in five outputs: 4KW, 6KW, 8KW, 12KW and 15KW.

The Aeromax Plus system provides higher efficiency and lower running costs, combined with lower noise levels and a longer lifespan than many of its predecessors. It has also been designed to make internal access to its components somewhat easier with a simple plumbing installation design.

Aeromax Plus forms part of Kingspan Renewables' Ultimate Air Source Heat Pump package, and is optimally partnered with Albion Aerocyl Heat Pump Only or Heat Pump & Solar Input cylinders – specifically designed for use in conjunction with a heat pump as the main or as an additional source of energy.

Custom-made to suit the needs of each application, this unique package is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects. Aeromax Plus is also perfect for both domestic and commercial markets.

Through the complete air source energy package, in conjunction with Aeromax Plus, Kingspan Renewables is also launching the Kingspan Heat Pump Accredited Installer Network. Following the success of the Kingspan Solar Accredited Installer Network - where 500 members have been certified - the Kingspan Heat Pump Accredited Installer Network will provide training and expertise to ensure that accredited installers are delivering the highest levels of customer support.

From the initial professional planning and design, to the installation and after-sales technical support, the Kingspan Heat Pump Accredited Installers Network will be a seal of approval, giving customers piece of mind.
