Tourist Trade Targeted In Galway

Galway City Council has been considering a fresh bid for the construction of a new guesthouse building at Kingshill, Salthill Road Upper, Galway.

The new development will consist of a 1,571 square metres of guesthouse building accommodation and will be composed of three-storeys over basement with a penthouse level above.

Plans include provision of a basement parking for 55 cars and revisions to the previously approved vehicular entrance.

A 47 square metres extension to the rear of the existing Block A, change of use of the existing Block A from residential use to use as a guest house/holiday apartments.

Retention of the omission of the pedestrian access steps to Block A from Salthill Road Upper and all associated site works and services.
