Cork Water Main Project Tendered

There's a major water project in Co Cork out to tender at present with the Coolnamagh Group Water Scheme to provide a new water supply network to serve the area of Mallow when completed.

The overall objective of the Coolnamagh Group Water Scheme is to provide a new water supply network to serve the area between Roskeen and Coolnamagh townlands at Lombardstown by way of connection to the existing 50mm HDPE local authority water main.

The Tender for this contract shall include for the supply of all materials, delivery of all equipment to site, for all craneage required, for all labour skilled and unskilled necessary for the laying of the water main, installation of valves and all associated works, for the testing and sterilisation of the water main in accordance with the tests set out in the Specification.

The works entail the supply, laying, testing, sterilisation and commissioning of 3200m of 110mm diameter uPVC water main, complete with valves/fittings, provision of 20 service connections and all other associated works.
