The first ever event rewarding excellence in kitchen design, innovation and customer service in Ireland, the KRI Awards, was a special night for Northern Ireland based company, McAuley Kitchens.

They scooped the 'Best Kitchen Showroom' award for their Boucher Road, Belfast showroom at the glittering event which was hosted by Patrick Kielty at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin.

Wesley McAuley, Director of McAuley Kitchens said: "When we chose the site on Boucher Road it was a vast empty shell. Our plan was to fill that space with great kitchens using all of our knowledge and know-how amassed over 50 years so to be named ‘Best Kitchen Showroom in Northern Ireland’ is a wonderful way to celebrate our achievements.

"We put a lot of thought, time and energy into the layout and ambience of the showroom and the decisions we made, from what brands we featured to the placement of our lighting, were all taken with our customers at the forefront of our minds.

"This award highlights our awareness of what people want when they visit a kitchen showroom and our continuing attention to detail will ensure they get the most from their McAuley Kitchens experience.

"We have a first class team delivering a high standard of customer service across all of our disciplines, from consultation to installation, and our commitment to quality workmanship will continue to be the cornerstone of how we do business.”

The award was judged on aesthetics, showroom interior and exterior, layout, range of displays, styling and lighting.

Judith Robinson-Lyttle, the KRI awards organiser said: "The independent judging panel found that the exterior was highly impressive with regards to signage and branding. The interior layout, design, styling and lighting scored highly and it was found that an excellent range of kitchens and appliances were on display. The interior had a superb natural flow to guide the customer through and our judges found this to be a very inviting space."

Wesley continued: "We hope the people of Northern Ireland will come and see for themselves what makes our showroom the best the Province has to offer. There is no better judge than the buying public and we look forward to welcoming them."

McAuley Kitchens stock an impressive range of kitchen brands including Alno, Second Nature, Metris and Kitchen Stori.
