The work will get underway on the week commencing 28 June for a period of approximately six weeks.
The first phase of this work will involve pipelaying around Harbour Square roundabout and will require the implementation of a traffic management system.

NI Water ha said that during this phase, traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions, and will be directed around the city side of the roundabout whilst work is ongoing on the riverside. All routes will be signposted. This phase will take approximately two weeks.
The second phase of the work entails the continuation of pipelaying along Queen's Quay. During the second phase, traffic will be restricted to one-way flow, for city bound traffic only. All north / country bound traffic will be diverted along the Strand Road, with the route signposted along its entirety. To minimise disruption, the second phase of the work will be carried out at night, with Queen's Quay being fully reopened to traffic each morning. This work will commence on the week beginning 12 July for approximately four weeks.
