Wilson Announces NIBRAC Appointments

NI Finance Minister Sammy Wilson has confirmed a number of appointments to the Northern Ireland Building Regulations Advisory Committee (NIBRAC).

The appointments are for a three-year term and took effect last week.

In addition to the 17 appointments, Kenneth Hunter is being appointed Chairman of NIBRAC, replacing Trevor Martin in the post. Four of the 17 members have already served a term on the committee.


Paying tribute to the seven members of the committee who will be standing down, the Minister said: "I would like to thank them for their service and dedication to the development of appropriate building standards for Northern Ireland and wish them all well for the future."

The Minister also thanked Trevor Martin for his contribution to the work of NIBRAC over recent years.
