Founded in 2008 on the idea that safety shoes don't have to be heavy boots, Solid Gear makes innovative footwear for work in any environment. For over 10 years, our products have redefined the performance, style, and comfort of safety footwear.

On the hunt for athletic occupational footwear, i.e., non-safety work shoes and boots? We’ve got them – for both men and women. Non-safety work boots and work shoes are exactly what the name suggests – footwear certified for work without extra safety features. Our athletic, non-safety footwear features technologies from front-running brands like GORE-TEX, Michelin, and BOA Fit System, so you can bring that extra bit of performance at work.

Insoles for safety footwear
Our safety shoes are comfy, but proper insoles take it to the next level. Our brand partners, OrthoLite® and Customized, are two of the front-running brands in the business, and together with them, we can provide the best insoles for work boots on the market. So, whether you need a high-arc footbed for your winter-lined safety boots or a low-arc footbed for your ventilated safety sneakers, we’ve got you covered. Our insoles are ESD-certified as well.

New socks for work? We’ve got ‘em in a bunch of different models. From thick, warm work socks for men to breathable women’s work socks.
