One Stop Shop

If you wish to upgrade multiple elements of your home the SEAI One Stop Shop solution provides an End-to-End service.

You are required to contract a registered One Stop Shop provider who will manage the entire process including claiming the grant support from SEAI. There are additional bonus grants available when you upgrade your home using a One Stop Shop. In this case, you do not have to pay the entire cost upfront as the grant funding is claimed directly by the One Stop Shop. Grants offered are provided by the Government of Ireland through the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

Individual Home Energy Upgrades

Grant funding is available for individual measures in which case the homeowner contracts private companies and submits the application for grant funding directly to the SEAI.
This option is suitable for homes that may already have completed significant upgrades or have a Building Energy Rating (BER) of B3 or lower. In this case, you will need to pay for the upgrade and can claim the grants after the work is completed. This option allows you to schedule gradual upgrades over time according to your needs and budget. Grants offered are provided by the Government of Ireland through the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

WHAT WE DO
  • Heatpumps

  • Air to water Heatpumps or air source heat pumps are an established technology that has been growing in popularity throughout the world over the last 50 years.

  • Solar PV

  • Solar Photovoltaic or Solar PV systems generate electricity using solar panel collectors which are installed on the roof of your home. These panels capture the energy from the sun and convert this into electricity that can then be used to power your home.

  • Under Floor Heating

  • Underfloor heating systems involve laying loops of plastic pipes through which water is pumped to heat the home. The pipes are either located inside a concrete floor or within a floor screed with insulation underneath to minimise downward heat losses. The pipes are arranged in loops connected back to manifolds. A room can have one or more loops controlled by a thermostat.

  • Insulation

  • Adequate insulation is a critical first step in making your home more comfortable and more energy efficient.

  • Air Tightness

  • Poor air tightness levels result in significant heat loss and inefficiency in many homes. Air tight homes are key for energy efficiency and also for protecting a building’s structure and preventing dampness and mold.

  • Windows & Doors

  • The single biggest heat loss area per m2 of a building is likely to be through the windows and doors which typically can lose three times more heat than an uninsulated wall so it is essential that we give this element very special attention.

  • Ventilation

  • The importance of correct ventilation in your home can not be overstated. This is particularly important in any modern homes with improved levels of insulation and air tightness to ensure that the air in your living environment is healthy and fresh.

  • Electric Vehicle Charging

  • Electric vehicles and plug in hybrid vehicles are becoming more and more common. When you are upgrading your home it is important to consider including an EV charging facility so you are prepared for the future even if you don't currently have an electric vehicle.
