Access Design and Safety Ltd was formed in 2010 with the aim of delivering a high-quality scaffold design service to meet the demands of BS EN 12811-1, TG20:08 (now TG 20:13) and EN1991-1-4:2005. Scaffold design is at the core of our business and our scaffold design drawings and calculation works are founded on many years of experience.

  We can attend site or a site meeting to ascertain requirements, meet clients or inspect an existing scaffold at any point before, during or after the design is complete.

  We can perform full independent CAT II or CAT III design checks on existing designs.

  Peace of mind knowing we have £5.0m Public Liability and £2.0m Professional Indemnity cover.

  Being based in the Midlands gives us excellent access to the motorway network allowing us to cover the whole of England, Wales and Scotland for our off site advice and site surveying services.

Scaffold Design
Scaffold design is at the core of our business and our scaffold design drawings and calculation works are founded on many years of experience. We couple this with the use of the latest CAD, frame analysis and wind loading analysis software complying with the latest codes to produce accurate and detailed design drawings and calculations for scaffolding, false work and formwork.

As a professional and competent design service we are fully insured with Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employers Liability information members of the NASC and associate members of the Scaffolding Association.

We produce scaffold design drawings in full colour, in sizes ranging from A4 to A0. The drawings can be plotted in house, or sent electronically in secure .pdf format. The designs can also be customised to show customers own branding and details.

Scaffold Inspections
With our customised scaffolding solutions, we are confident about addressing all your requirements. We are available for inspections and surveys at any stage in your project. Our experts can make all the necessary changes to your scaffolding and keep your project on schedule.

Design Check
At Access Design & Safety Ltd we can also independently check scaffold design drawings and calculations produced by other designers to meet the requirements of a Category 2 (CAT II) or Category 3 (CAT III) design check. These are frequently required as part of a Network Rail design.

Site Surveys
At Access Design & Safety Ltd we can support you through the entire process of scaffold design. As part of this service we can attend site at any point of the process, either before design to survey site conditions and ascertain your requirements, after erection to ‘sign off’ the design or at any point to discuss a change or requirements or revisions.

Carrying a range of equipment and full PPE, you can have the confidence of knowing an engineer has seen the site and spoken to you or your customer first hand.
