We are Specialist Contractors in the Investigation & Stabilisation of Shallow Mineworkings.

Since our foundation in 1982, we have grown from a mineworkings specialist concentrating in South Staffordshire to a specialist drilling and grouting company that operates all over the UK from our West Midlands base.

Our extensive inventory of plant and vehicles are maintained by our own team of well experienced and qualified plant fitters.

Our Equipment
The company owns almost all of the plant and equipment that is used on a day to day basis, including all of the drilling rigs. Plant and vehicles are maintained by our own team of well experienced and qualified plant fitters.

About Us
The company was founded in 1982 to offer specialist contracting services in the investigation and stabilisation of mineworkings and mineshafts, concentrating its activities in the South Staffordshire Coalfield. The company has grown significantly in the past 40 years, investing heavily to provide state-of-the-art drilling rigs and associated equipment, and now operates UK wide from its base in the West Midlands.

The original founders withdraw from the business in the late 1990s, retiring fully in 2001 and since then a new management team has become well established. The team comprises of a number of experienced Engineers, Geologists and Surveyors. As a result, M&J Drilling has the benefit of a highly experienced, knowledgeable and stable workforce.
