Welcome to Glas – Logical Alternative Solutions
Established in 2002, the focus of Glas energy is to provide high quality products and services in the renewable and sustainable energy arena.
Our mission statement:
The mission of Glas is, through strategic partnerships with equipment manufactures, to provide high quality reliable renewable energy technologies and accessories, directly and indirectly to the domestic and commercial market. In conjunction with the products Glas will also supply a timely efficient and effective range of installation, maintenance and technical support services.
Ultimately our vision is to facilitate the change away from polluting, fossil fuel sources to clean renewable technologies. Since our inception we have completed over 700 projects. Our customers vary from homeowners seeking to be more environmentally friendly to business seeking to reduce their energy costs.
At Glas we also believe that education plays a key role in the change process and provide free public seminars on renewable technologies and alternatives to reduce your carbon footprint.

Solar
At Glas we have been installing solar thermal systems for almost 7 years, Solar thermal systems consist of panels that convert sunlight to heat. The systems may be used to heat domestic hot water, to supplement heating, to heat large volumes of water for commercial use, or to heat swimming pools.
Wood Fuel Solutions
The use of wood reduces our dependence on heating oil and natural gas, safeguards local jobs in the surrounding region and offers an additional source of income for land and forest managers.
