We manufacture two types of magnetic separator:

Overband Magnet (Self-cleaning)
Overband magnets are used when there is a high quantity of ferrous metal in conveyors flows, the material on the conveyor passes under the Overband magnet and any ferrous metals are pulled by the strong magnetic field towards the magnet, this is then automatically cleaned to one side using the continuously moving cleated belt, the ferrous metals will then drop into hoppers or positioned containers.

Suspended Magnet (Manual Cleaning)
The Mainplant range of suspended magnets (MC) is a cost effective way of removing unwanted ferrous metals from conveyor flows. The material on the conveyor passes under the magnet and any ferrous metals are pulled by the strong magnetic field towards the magnet face, remaining there until manually removed. No power source is required as the magnet power is permanent.
