We offer a range of building design and property related services to our clients. We provide high quality designs and drawings to a variety of clients across all sectors. Our service range takes you from concept design to the final project. Our record as designers of buildings is characterised by clear concepts, efficient planning, and excellent quality that provides value to the end users.

With every project we take time to understand our clients' aspirations and requirements and use this as a basis for developing unique design solutions. Of equal importance to us is to deliver these solutions within the timescale agreed with our clients at the outset. Some particular areas of expertise within the practice include residential design, urban design, and master planning.

Services

• Architecture
  The practice has extensive experience in a range of projects varying from high rise commercial and civic buildings to smaller scale residential projects and one-off houses. We are currently involved in several residential, retail and commercial developments. We are dedicated to excellence in design and rigorous attention to technical detail in the realisation of each project. NODE provide a full architectural service from conception to completion in accordance with the RIAI Scope of Services.


• Architectural conservation
  NODE is credited with a Grade 3 accreditation under the RIAI Conservation Accreditation system and we have extensive experience of working with protected structures and buildings of historical significance.


• Interior design
  Both Dave & Noel have extensive experience in Interior Design in projects ranging from domestic interiors to retail, healthcare, leisure and large commercial office interiors.


• Urban planning
  Noel O'Dwyer is a graduate of UCD School of Architecture and has a diploma in urban design and town planning from The European Institute of Architecture and Planning in Rouen, France. NODE have the ability to undertake masterplans, framework plans, and feasibility studies for medium and large scale residential and commercial developments.


• Project management
  Experience in dealing with complex building briefs and commercially driven projects equip the practice to competently and professionally serve all clients. The practice principals and senior staff have extensive experience in project management. While ensuring that design goals and quality standards are maintained, the practice also manages the projects such that they are delivered on time and within budget. We offer advice on contract type, procurement methods and warranties.


• Sustainable design
  Sustainable design is integral to all projects at NODE and we aim to exceed the current building regulations to achieve the best Building Energy Rating possible within time and budget constraints. Relatively simple methods such as airtight construction and higher levels of insulation are employed as well as more advanced solutions including thermal mass cooling and micro-generation.
  Dave Egan was heavily involved in the development of sustainable design strategies in DMOD and was published in the RIAI's sustainable design publication in May '08 on the subject of sustainable housing design.
