O'Carroll Engineering specialise in architectural metalwork, in particular feature stairs, escape stairs, free standing glass railing and stainless steel and glass railings. Our extensive portfolio of projects include various architectural metalwork for office complexes, shopping centres, hotels, apartment developments, government projects, factories, clean rooms, and high-end domestic homes.
Site surveys, detailed 3-dimensional drawings, unambiguous quotations, accurate delivery dates, modern manufacturing processes & finishes, rigorous quality control and professional fitting are all covered by our staff on our two-acre site.
We have worked with many of the country’s leading architectural and contracting firms on projects from five star hotels to wind farms and award winning public buildings. Our standards have been independently recognised by the achievement of the ISO quality certificate 9001:2008. O’Carroll Engineering are members of the British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA) and follow their guidelines in relation to manufacture and maintenance regimes for stainless steel products.
Combining our experience with modern technological manufacturing & finishing processes including laser-cutting procession insures that we have the capabilities to take on most projects and all can be achieved on site, and under our exacting standards.

Signature Stairs
Our Irish made Signature Stairs range offers the homeowner a unique opportunity to make a real statement in the interior design of their home.
Each stair type represents a beautiful combination of functionality and design, combining old and new world concepts with exceptional results. A sense of openness and luxury to a home is achieved through our range of free standing glazing, stainless steel & glass balustrade, uniquely designed solid steps and original concept stringers, including central spine stairs.
O’ Carroll Engineering applies all its experience in commercial architectural metalwork and our exacting standards and resources to the Signature range to offer clients a complete professional service. Client’s homes are surveyed prior to a 3-dimensional drawing of their project being generated for approval. Their custom-built stairs | railing is then manufactured before one of our specialist fitting teams installs the finished product.
We also offer a range of free standing glass and stainless steel and glass railings as well as balustrade and gallery rail to concrete | timber stairs, exterior decking and balcony railings.
