Stakelums Plant Hire was formed ...
... as a sister company to Stakelum's Hardware in 1997, in response to the growing needs of our customers for plant hire products.

Since that time we have grown steadly to now be in a position to supply all your plant hire needs, from lawnmowers to loadalls, scarafiers to mini digger hire.

We currently have a full time staff of seven, including two fully qualified fitters and a breakdown call out facility.

We are located in Thurles, beside the railway station, near Semple Stadium.

We stock a large selection of ladders and access equipment of all types and sizes.

Generators, cement mixers, etc ...
Our Hire Fleet contains both petrol and diesel generators up to 10 kVA in output.

Dumpers, diggers, etc ...
Dumpers and diggers have, in recent years, become part and parcel of the building trade and our Hire Fleet contains all sizes from 1 tonne to 4 tonnes.

Scaffolding, lifts, etc ...
We stock both Quick-Stage and aluminium scaffolding along with a range of scissors and boom self-propelled lifts.
