OUR MANDATE
Is simply to improve the standards of electrical installation work in Ireland by promoting and protecting the interests of the public relating to electrical services as well as providing a service to our contractors to promote and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and competence.
Before the establishment of regulatory bodies like the ECSSA there was considerable anxiety among the general public, and even the electrical industry about unqualified people carrying out electrical work.
