2years on from installation job & still getting an horrendous smell of soot whenever there is a strong wind outside..which is quite a lot living close to the coast! Very poor service - had to call Virgil Power back several times since & work hard to convince him that there was an issue.. He was very reluctant to admit there could be anything wrong & I had to research what may help the issue including having rock wool packing etc nothing has helped let alone resolved the issue, & no suggestions from this company! Mantle piece was a cheap piece of hollow timber with a bit of colour slapped on. He also used a laundry bucket of ours to mix cement in(??!) Anyway, not impressed& Id recommend looking elsewhere if youd like a stove installed
