Company Profile
Stresslite is the producer of a wide range of precast products including Wideslab, Block & Plank, T-Beam Flooring, Precast Tanks, Beams, Walls, Stairs, and Culverts. Stresslite also produce special precast products to suit the customer, working in conjunction with clients, architects and engineers.
Stresslite is located in close proximity to all activity. Situated at the foothills of the Wicklow and Dublin Mountains and located 15km from Tallaght and the M50 Motorway. This provides us with easy and quick access to anywhere in Ireland and access to the UK through Dublin Port.
Stresslite was founded in 1995 by Seán Farrington, the present Managing Director, with over 30 years' experience in the Sales, Marketing and Production of precast products. In 1979 Seán introduced the large precast tanks and the prestressed wide slab flooring to Ireland.
The company is now one of the largest producers of precast flooring & tanks in Ireland with a good track record of Quality and Service. Stresslite have built up a good clientele over the years and have worked with some of the largest construction companies in Ireland on a number of large developments in Finglas, Parkwest, Celbridge, and Lucan.
Design
The Stresslite Design Team includes a fully trained team of Engineers and Technicians. Our design team incorporate the most up to date Auto CAD Software and utilise our own calculations to support our product design and to provide a quick turnaround for Consulting Engineers and Clients.
Quality
Our precast concrete factory is situated in a stone quarry which was opened as far back as the 1930s and which now has up to 20,000,000 tonnes of good quality rock for the manufacture of concrete. Testing of all our concrete is carried out in our factory and also by an external contractor at regular intervals.
Stresslite precast concrete floors and tanks have been members of the C.I.F. (Construction Industry Federation) and the I.C.P.A. (Irish Concrete Producers Association) for many years.
Health & Safety
Stresslite employ a full-time fully trained Health & Safety Officer who is in charge of our factory and who also visits our erection sites throughout Ireland. All Stresslite Crews have successfully completed the FÁS Safe Pass Training Course to meet the current Safety, Health & Welfare at work Act 2005, the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 1993, and the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2001 SI 148.
