I can’t speak highly enough of this business, we are fortunate to have it on our doorstep here in Clifden. All the lads are extremely helpful and informative, nothing is ever too much trouble them. The range of products and choice is spot on, the service, advice provided and general friendly atmosphere is first class.

As a fellow Blow in I have enjoyed a different experience with Clifden Supply Centre.

The team are helpful and inquisitive. If Im ordering something theyll often enquire as to what it is for, proffer advice and often change my approach.

Some of the pricing is higher than Im used to (Bathroom Suites) but most materials are reasonably competitive compared to large urban providers.

I wonder if the negative posts are from users whom have the wrong expectations of this place. Its not a consumer outlet it is a builders providers, some understanding of your requirements are therefore required. I imagine one might get pushback if they are expecting an end to end advisory service for DIY type projects.

Unfortunately I was put off Clifden Supply when I initially started a project in Clifden. As a "Blow In" I must say that I have never ever had a problem with the staff at the Clifden Supply - they have always been courteous to me and helpful when I have needed advice. Dont be put off by the previous reviews - find out for yourself and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Im a Dub (northsider) I have been dealing with Clifden supply for over 40 years. I find all the staff a pleasure to deal with, & its not bad value either.

Have to thoroughly agree with comments made by "Blow In".
I have spent approx 60 K in this place over the past 7 years and yes the only thing one gets back is pure abuse, from the owners and staff alike. Like "Blow In" I feel hurt, very hurt, by the treatment that has been metered out to myself and my wife by the owners and staff of this place. What is it about them that has built up such resentment towards others who have invested their hard earned money in Clifden and surrounds only to be met with this type of hatred for having done so ??
I am posting this on Construct Ireland for everyone to view and comment on, so please feel free to put your opinion here.
There is one nice person working there and that is Aidan, the rest of them, well the post speaks for itself.
In would invite "Blow In" to make direct contact with me so that these very serious issues can be explored to the fullest extent. Its very importand innocent people know what they are letting themselves in for when conducting business with the Supply Centre.

I was very surprised to see the previous review. My family have dealt with this place many times over the years, in the last week a delivery of steel fixtures for a shed, and a visit to buy some paint. We have always found the staff very pleasant and helpful. I am absolutely clueless when it comes to DIY, and they have always been extremely helpful.
We have had a workman here over the last few days, and he has said the prices are better than suppliers in Galway City that he normally uses.
I can only speak from our experience, as I am sure the previous reviewer did, but I would be happy to recommend them

What can one say about this place and some of the guys that manage and own it.

They just resent people coming to the location.

Take it from me, having spent close to 10 K in this place in the past few months and received nothing short of basic abuse for the privelage of doing so leaves me with no other option but to recommend one to avoid if at all possible.

Word of caution however, theres attitude in here that you wouldnt cut through with a chain saw.

Never came across anything like the attitude anywhere in my entire life !!!!
