About Us

In 1995, John Whitford Snr founded John Whitford Paving Services, which is a family run business. Since day one our main objective has been to provide a service of high quality of workmanship and standards. Since 2002, we have become a member of the National Guild of Master Craftsmen.

We have formed strong business links with a number of companies who provide us with high quality products and services.

We provide a full service for all types of ground and stone work. We specialises in a wide range of services, which include the following:

Services
We provide a four step process in order to provide you with the best possible service. The first two steps will assist us in obtaining exactly what you require. The final two step are relating to the physical implementation of your requirements. The step are as follows:

Consultancy
This step will be our initial interaction with the client. As part of this step we will do the following:

• Discuss with client their suggestions and ideas
• Make recommendations and/or make alternate suggestions for utilising relevant area to full potential.
• Provide samples of relevant products available.
• Show comparable work previously completed.

Design

• Specific detailed scope of work to be completed.
• Customised features for relevant area (i.e. Curves, circles and walls, etc).
• Finalise specific products to used.

Groundwork
The secret of successful paving & stonework is preparation. This step involves

• Accessing the site, for utility services
• Preparing the site, (i.e. Removal of spoil)
• Levelling of Site, which allows for gradients and falls

Construction
This is the final process in completing the scope of work as required by the client.
