About OHara Gutters Limited
Established 20 years ago in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo, O'Hara Gutters is the largest rainwater and gutter restoration company in Ireland. Founder, Paddy O’Hara, has a passion and expertise for heritage restoration of cast iron rainwater goods back to their original state. With knowledge and information spanning over 40 years in the building trade, he is well equipped to advise customers and contractors.
With the company’s proven expertise and a successful track record in the installation & supply of materials including cast iron, cast aluminium - gutters, downpipes, fascias, soffits from various materials.
Now covering all 32 counties, with a skilled workforce who hold Safe Pass Certificates, estimators, surveyors, health and safety officer and drawing office, O'Hara Gutters can undertake projects both large and small.
We offer nationwide next day delivery of rainwater goods in materials such as, cast iron, extruded aluminium, cast aluminium and ProStyle PVC cast iron.

Cast Aluminium Rainwater Goods
Cast Aluminium Rainwater Goods are one of the few materials that can be infinitely recycled, whilst also being one of the most durable with a life expectancy of 50 years or more. All of our Gutters and Downpipes are Polyester powder coated for a hardwearing, fade resistant finish which will last the lifetime of the product which comes in any colour required. We also provide many Cast Aluminium Gutters and Downpipes in a Heritage Black finish, with a textured surface, emulating the appearance of Cast Iron.
Cast Iron Rainwater Goods
Cast Iron is a sustainable material. This means that after serving the drainage needs of a building for its lifetime it can be fully recycled, not 'downcycled'. It is a building material also approved as ethical and promoted by Greenpeace. We offer a vast array of Traditional Cast Iron products, which are proven to be versatile, durable and reliable. These sustainable products continue to meet the changing demands of modern industry. We offer ranges from two of the largest Cast Iron manufacturers in the world and we also hold a large stock of salvage Cast Iron Rainwater Goods.
Rubber Gutter/Valley Liner
Gutterline stops gutters leaking. Easily, efficiently, cost effectively, and for good. The material is incredibly hard-wearing and carries a 20 year guarantee. It is pliable enough to mould to any gutter profile and will tolerate changes in temperatures and building movement without splitting or cracking. The unique Gutterline system creates a totally sealed, fully waterproof ‘gutter within a gutter’ leaving the original gutter untouched so there is no need for any structural work.
Seamless Aluminum Rainwater Goods
O'Hara Gutters Ltd was founded in 1992 and started as a Seamless Aluminium Guttering Contractor. Seamless Aluminium is a continuous Gutter with no joints which is made from Extruded Aluminium. The gutter is formed on-site to fit the specific building. The material comes in black, white or brown and is very easily cleaned. The downpipes which are fitted to complement the gutters are a 65mm PVC downpipe and come in the same colours.
"Cascade" Cast Iron Style PVC Rainwater Goods
"Cascade" Cast Iron Style PVC Rainwater Goods are a Cast Iron mimic produced in PVC. It has a unique patented manufacturing process, which forms Cast Iron detailing on the pipework, guttering and fittings. It comes in a number of colours namely, Classic Black, Oxford Blue, Olive Green, Graphite Grey, Sandstone and Porcelain White. The range has been sympathetically designed with full consideration to original features, dimensions and detailing to provide heritage style without compromising the architectural integrity of traditionally designed buildings and renovation projects.
Refurbishment of Cast Iron Rainwater Goods
O’Hara Gutters Ltd is highly skilled at the refurbishment of cast iron. Each piece is handled with care and expertise to return them to their original splendour. O’Hara Gutters Ltd uses all heritage guidelines for refurbishment of cast iron set out by the heritage councils and the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government – DOEHLG. (now the NIAH within the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht).
