Donegal is an independently owned Industrial Refrigeration company specialising in the installation and service of Industrial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. We have 40 years experience in this field and many of our installations installed some 35 years ago are still operating, with careful maintenance as effectively as they were when first installed.

Cold Storage
Donegal Refrigeration ltd have 40 years experience in the supply and installation of Cold stores. Whatever your application we can provide a Cold Store to suit you. We undertake projects of all sizes and for a wide range of industry applications including chilled ware housing Chillers Blast freezers. Meat and fish processing facilities fruit and vegetable production preparation and storage.

We understand every project is different and we take you through every step to ensure you that the Cold Store you require is the correct solution for the application and budget required by you and your product. All Cold Rooms are designed and finished to the standard required with the finish required for the type of product being stored i.e food safe laminate interior. We use only the highest quality Bitzer, Sabroe, York, Frick Compressors and BAC Condenser (Evaporative)and numerous models of air cooled Condensers. What ever suits the project and Budget.

All our applications can be used on land based projects or on sea based i.e. Marine Fishing vessels.

Donegal Refrigeration is fully compliant with Pressure Equipment Directive compliance F-gas compliance and Safety Certification.

Equipment
The equipment we use is of the highest standard and has worldwide notoriety, even our supply of used machinery is only sourced from suppliers we have been dealing with for the last 40 years or so and have built up an understanding that our requirements for second hand is as much a high grade priority to the customer as if they were purchasing new.

Water Cooled Air Cooled Evaporative Shell and plate PHE again each installation has a requirement.

Cold Room Storage Panels
These insulated panels are of the highest grade polystyrene to the required thickness for the application required to maintain a temperature of -/+ deg C depending on what is needed, we supply these high grade panels and monitor the construction from sub contractors that we have worked with down through the years providing us with hours of undivided attention to make sure the end result is impeccable.

Piping
The most important part of any installation is the reassurance that leaks will be to the minimum and this is where we recommend that X-ray standard coded welders are employed in the installation of all our pipe work of Refrigerant CS copper piping and stainless steel.

Electrical Panels
For years we have built our own panels, today specialist operators can do it, but we continue to advise on what we require for the best possible wiring and safe operation of the plant.
