Not far from Armagh City and the national road network, the extensive quarries and facilities at Loughran Rock Industries in the hills of Clady make us one of Northern Ireland's foremost excavators of quarry aggregates, and providers of high grade ready mix concrete, blocks, stones and hard materials for the construction industry.

Loughran Rock Industries was established in 1985, although the roots of our business go back much farther than that. Since the 1960s and 1970s the Loughran name has been a familiar sight on our roads, carrying and supplying materials for the construction and civil engineering industries in Northern Ireland.

Over the years, we have always taken a pride in our appearance, and so have invested consistently in our road fleet, always ensuring our tippers and mixer trucks are up to date, and of course liveried in our distinctive red and cream colours. This attention to detail reflects an approach which spreads right through to the operational core of the Loughran Rock Industries business.

And it's not just out on the road where you'll find we adhere to these exacting standards, but also in the machinery back in our quarries, as we know that vigilant maintenance means efficient running and minimal downtime. Backed up by our modern fleet of excavating and rock breaking machinery, our tippers and ready mix concrete trucks are continuously suppling high volumes of all grades of concrete mixes and blocks, quickly and on schedule, to construction and civil engineering projects around Northern Ireland and the border counties of Louth and Monaghan.

Backed up by our modern fleet of excavating and rock breaking machinery, our tippers and ready mix concrete trucks are continuously suppling high volumes of quarry materials, quickly and on schedule, to construction and civil engineering projects around Northern Ireland.


• Ready Mix Concrete
  At our on site facility we produce all grades of ready mixed concrete which rigorously conform to BS EN 206 and BS 8500 standards. Our products include pump mixes, air entrained mixes, fibre-added mixes and retarded mixes, which are suitable for applications throughout the civil engineering spectrum.

Plant and Machinery Hire
Our comprehensive fleet of mechanical plant and machinery is always maintained to maximise efficiency, and operational uptime. To facilitate your project scalability Loughran Rock Industries offer a comprehensive hire service, including tracked excavators, bulldozers, rock breaking machinery, as well as tipper trucks.
